to the website of the 31st Conference of the International Association for Time Use Research (IATUR.org) The organisers, the Research Institute on Professions (Forschungsinstitut Freie Berufe, FFB) of the Leuphana University Lüneburg – home of the electronic International Journal of Time Use Research (eIJTUR.org) – together with the German Federal Statistical Office and with IATUR, expect to see you in our University and town Lüneburg in Northern Germany.
The more than 1000 years old medieval town Lüneburg (latitude 53.250, longitude 10.417) is located half an hour south of Hamburg, two hours from Berlin and a day from Sydney, Australia. Besides the conference, Lüneburg is attractive for further travelling through Germany and Europe.
‘New approaches and results in time use research’ is the IATUR 2009 Lüneburg conference motto. Convinced of the great importance of the encompassing time dimension in our daily life – and being sure together with the Rolling Stones tune ‘Time is on my side’ – all papers addressing substantive and methodological issues also on a multinational level are encouraged for submission and discussion.
